The work was painted in 2020 with oil paints on canvas. The ends are stained, allowing the painting to be displayed without a frame and to be used as a decoration in contemporary interiors.
The picture is painted in an airy and turquoise colour scheme, with predominantly warm tones in the foreground. This technique adds volume to the composition and intensifies the light and air perspective. The manner of execution of this work imitates classical Dutch still lifes with images of fruits.
“Still Life with Blackberries and Quince” will become a bright accent in the interior of any room, giving the space in the house additional volume and comfort.
